Is tax and gratuity included in the event package pricing?

Birthday party packages do not include tax or service gratuity in the package pricing. A 10% service gratuity will be added to all birthday party invoices. Additional gratuity is at the guest's discretion. Private VIP Lounge bookings are subject to a 20% service gratuity charge, which is included on your invoice at the time of booking.

Can I bring my own cake or outside food to my event?

One outside birthday cake or dessert is welcome if you have purchased a birthday party package or are renting the Private VIP Lounge. No other outside food or beverages are permitted, including personal drinks, alcohol not purchased on-site, or any other consumable items. All other food and beverages are available through Doc's Bar & Grill and can be pre-ordered through most packages at checkout. For major allergy considerations, please call at least 24 hours in advance at (609) 882-7700.

Can I bring in my own entertainment, photographer, or DJ?

Due to insurance liability requirements, you must contact info@colonialbowlingnj.com before entering into any contract with an outside entertainer. This applies to magicians, face painters, costume characters, DJs, photographers, and all other performers. All outside entertainers must provide proof of insurance with Colonial Bowling & Entertainment listed as Additional Insured prior to the event. Outside entertainers are subject to approval and may be declined without a stated reason. Masked performers are not permitted for any reason.

Where will my event take place at Colonial Bowling & Entertainment?

Event space depends on the size of your group and is subject to availability at the time of booking. Space options at our Lawrenceville, NJ location include our semi-private birthday rooms, our Private VIP Lounge, Doc's Bar & Grill, and our bowling areas. Groups with specific space requests should contact us as early as possible. Our Private VIP Lounge is a 4,000+ square foot space with 4 dedicated bowling lanes, a 250 square foot LED video wall, an electric fireplace, multiple 90-inch OLED TVs, two unlimited-play Skee-Ball machines, a private bar, and a private restroom.

How many guests can attend a private event at Colonial Bowling?

Our VIP Kid's Party package accommodates up to 40 bowlers, with additional non-bowling guests welcome beyond that count. Our Corporate Event and Milestones & Memories packages each accommodate up to 50 bowlers and up to 130 total guests. What is the deposit policy for event space rental at Colonial Bowling?

A minimum 50% deposit is required to confirm your event. Space is held for up to 72 hours without a deposit but is not confirmed until payment is received. That was awesome experience, kids had great fun. JD was our host, he helped kids organize the games so they can enjoy more. He made the party so comfortable that we were just sitting and watching kids playing and have fun. Pizza and colds drinks were served on time, kids liked the return gifts.
